At Victoria Rose Aesthetics in Pickering, the clinic's pricing page lists lip filler under Dermal Filler as Lips, $700. That line does not state a syringe size or an amount in ml. The clinic's Lip Filler page explains that lip treatments are priced per syringe of Teosyal hyaluronic acid, so the cost follows the amount of product the lip plan calls for. Most first treatments use 0.5 to 1 ml. The plan is set at a consultation and confirmed in a written quote before treatment. This page explains what moves the number and what the price covers.
Lip filler prices on the Victoria Rose Aesthetics pricing page
The treatment pricing page carries two caveats. For injectables it reads: "These are estimated costs and may vary based on individual assessment and needs." For every treatment it adds: "Prices are subject to change." The written quote is the figure that applies to a given plan.
The Lips line has no detail text and does not state a syringe size or an amount in ml. How many syringes a plan calls for is set at the consultation and written into the quote before treatment.
Two lines on the pricing page relate to the lips. Lip filler sits under the Dermal Filler category, and the lip flip sits under Botox / Nuceiva:
- Dermal Filler, Lips: $700
- Botox / Nuceiva, Lip flip: $150
What changes the cost: the amount of hyaluronic acid
Lip treatments at the clinic use Teosyal, a Health Canada-approved cross-linked hyaluronic acid made in Switzerland. Cross-linking holds the hyaluronic acid together as a gel so it stays where it is placed. The gel binds water and adds structure at that point, so the amount injected and its placement decide the result.
For most patients, 0.5 to 1 ml of hyaluronic acid gives a natural enhancement. More than 1 ml in a first session is rarely recommended, and more can be added at a later appointment. A larger change is therefore planned across visits, and the amount at each visit follows the plan.
The Lip Filler page states that lip treatments are priced per syringe, and that the number of syringes recommended depends on three things:
- The starting volume of the lips.
- The result the patient wants.
- Facial proportions. The plan is built around lip anatomy and the face, with placement chosen for balance over volume.
What the price includes, and what the pricing page does not list
Some costs are not listed on either page. The pricing page gives no price for dissolving with hyaluronidase and no separate price for a later top-up, so both are discussed at the consultation. A consultation comes first in every case: the injector assesses the lips, sets the plan and gives a written quote before any treatment.
What the lip price does include is stated on the Lip Filler page. The pricing page itself does not itemise it. According to the Lip Filler page, lip pricing reflects four things:
- The Teosyal product.
- The injector's time.
- The two-week follow-up appointment.
- Any in-office touch-ups assessed at that follow-up, which are made at no additional cost.
How the appointment runs and how long a result lasts
Topical numbing is applied for 15 to 20 minutes, and Teosyal also contains lidocaine. The treatment itself takes 20 to 30 minutes. Swelling peaks at about 24 to 48 hours, and the lips settle over about two weeks. The two-week follow-up reviews the shape once that swelling has gone.
Results last 6 to 12 months, and most patients return for a top-up before the result fully softens. The amount used at a top-up follows the plan for those lips at that time. The pricing page lists no separate top-up figure, so the written quote sets it.
Teosyal is reversible with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that dissolves hyaluronic acid, if a result ever needs to be corrected.
Lip filler or a lip flip: two prices, two different results
The pricing page lists a lip flip at $150, under Botox / Nuceiva. It works on muscle. The Lip Flip page says typically 4 to 6 units are placed along the orbicularis oris, the muscle above the upper lip. It adds no volume. Treatment takes under 10 minutes, and the effect lasts 6 to 10 weeks.
Lip filler adds structure with hyaluronic acid and lasts 6 to 12 months. The two treatments answer different requests, so the lower listed price of a lip flip only helps if its result is the one wanted. The consultation is where that choice is made, and the chosen option is confirmed in the written quote.
Who should wait before booking lip filler
The listed price assumes the plan fits the person. Medical reasons to postpone, and how to judge an injector before booking, are set out in our guide to choosing lip filler in Pickering.
Beyond those, some situations call for waiting or for a different plan:
- An event within the next two weeks. Swelling peaks at about 24 to 48 hours and the lips take about two weeks to settle, so a result timed for a date needs that window.
- A request for a large change in one visit. More than 1 ml in a first session is rarely recommended, so a bigger change is staged across appointments.
- A wish for more of the upper lip to show with no added volume. A lip flip may suit that request better, and the consultation decides.
