Masseter Botox pricing at VRA is per unit. The masseter usually needs more units than a facial line treatment because it is a large, strong muscle. Masseter Botox typically uses about 20 to 30 units per side, depending on the size and strength of your muscle and whether your goal is slimming, grinding relief, or both. Stronger jaws generally need more. Your VRA injector assesses your masseter at consultation and shows you the dose plan before any injection.

Clenching and grinding relief usually begins within 1 to 2 weeks. Visible slimming is more gradual, developing over roughly 4 to 8 weeks as the relaxed masseter is used less and reduces in size. The full contour change settles by around month three.

Yes. Relaxing the masseter reduces the force behind grinding and clenching (bruxism), which helps protect your teeth and eases morning jaw fatigue and soreness. Many patients notice the tension relief within a week or two, before any slimming becomes visible.

Most patients feel only a mild pinch at each injection point. The treatment takes about 15 to 20 minutes with a few small injections per side and requires no anaesthesia. Ice can be applied to the area beforehand if requested.
