Chin Botox typically uses about 2 to 6 units placed into the mentalis, depending on how strong your muscle is and how much dimpling you want to soften. Your VRA injector assesses your mentalis at consultation and shows you the dose plan before any injection.

Results typically last about 3 to 4 months, consistent with standard Botox longevity. Patients who maintain regular appointments often find results last longer over time as the mentalis gradually becomes less active.

Smoothing usually begins within 3 to 7 days as the mentalis relaxes, and the full result settles by about two weeks. The dimpled, orange-peel texture softens gradually over that time rather than all at once.
