Weight Management

The pockets that stayed after the weight came off.

You did the hard part. The number on the scale moved through a GLP-1 medication, surgery, or a sustained diet change. Some things did not follow. A pocket under the jaw, a ring around the lower abdomen, energy that has not bounced back. This page is for the work that comes after.

CONCERN & CAUSES

What Stays After the Weight Comes Off

Victoria Rose Aesthetics does not prescribe GLP-1 medication or run a weight-loss program. We support the work that comes after, and it usually splits into a few distinct presentations.

01

Submental Fullness

A pocket under the chin softens the jawline even after the scale moves, because fat distribution is partly genetic. It is the most common zone patients ask us to help refine.

02

Stubborn Lower-Body Pockets

A ring around the lower abdomen or the flanks can persist through significant weight loss. These are localized deposits that resist diet and exercise, and they respond to targeted contouring.

03

Depleted Energy and Nutrients

Sustained loss, especially when rapid, can deplete B vitamins, electrolytes, and hydration. Reduced appetite on GLP-1 medication makes balanced nutrition harder, and the gaps show up as fatigue.

04

Skin Left Behind

When a fat pocket shrinks, the skin over it does not always retract at the same pace. Mild laxity can sit over a residual deposit, which changes how the area is assessed.

Treatment Benefits

Adjunct Support for Weight Management in Pickering

Body contouring works on pockets, not on systems, and it is not a substitute for sustained weight loss. Victoria, an RN with over a decade of clinical experience, sets honest expectations first, then matches the right adjunct to where your journey already is.

Lipolysis

Lipolysis

An injectable treatment that disrupts fat cell membranes in small, defined areas. The body then clears the released fat through its normal metabolic pathways over the weeks that follow.

IV Therapy

IV Therapy

An intravenous protocol that delivers fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the absorption limits of oral supplements.

Wellness Vitamin Shots

Wellness Vitamin Shots

A targeted intramuscular injection that delivers a specific vitamin formulation, used as a quicker alternative to a full IV protocol when only one or two nutrients are the focus.

Pain Management

Pain Management

A clinical protocol that addresses musculoskeletal discomfort, post-procedural soreness, or chronic pain that interferes with mobility and recovery during an active treatment phase.

How to Support Your Result Between Sessions

Contouring refines a pocket, but the habits around it carry the result over time. Hydration, nutrition, stable weight, and care for the skin over a treated area all help hold what each session achieves. The points below are how you support it day to day.

FAQ

Common Questions About
Weight Management Support

No. We do not run a prescription weight-loss program and do not prescribe GLP-1 medications. Patients seeking these medications should speak with their family doctor or a clinic that offers medical weight management. Our role is the aesthetic and wellness adjunct for patients already on a weight journey.

Lipolysis is an injectable that targets specific fat pockets. It does not reduce overall body weight in any meaningful way. A typical session treats an area the size of a small palm. It addresses stubborn deposits in defined areas, and it does not lower overall body weight the way a medication-led program aims to.

Most patients see results across two to four sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. The number depends on the size of the pocket, your starting point, and how your body responds. Victoria sets realistic expectations at the consultation rather than promising a fixed count upfront.

IV therapy does not cause weight loss on its own. It can support hydration, energy, and nutrient levels for patients who are losing weight through other means, especially if reduced appetite is making balanced nutrition harder. It is a support measure, not a weight-loss treatment.

Lipolysis treats fat, not skin laxity. If the primary issue is loose skin rather than residual fat, a different treatment category applies. Your practitioner will assess both at the consultation and tell you honestly which approach, if any, fits your situation.

For patients with documented B12 deficiency or low-normal levels, B12 injections can address fatigue more reliably than oral supplements. They are not a stimulant or an energy booster for patients with normal levels. Bloodwork helps guide whether they are appropriate for you.

Most patients describe mild discomfort during the injection and some tenderness, swelling, or bruising in the treated area for several days afterward. Discomfort varies by area and by individual sensitivity, and your practitioner reviews what to expect before treatment.

No. Lipolysis, IV therapy, and vitamin injections at our clinic are cosmetic and wellness services and are not covered by OHIP or private medical insurance. Pricing is outlined in detail at the consultation so you can plan the full protocol upfront.

For lipolysis, we usually recommend waiting until your weight has been stable for a few months so the contouring result is not undone by further changes. For IV and wellness support, treatment during active weight loss is often appropriate. Your practitioner advises per patient at the consultation.

Lipolysis treats fat, not skin laxity, so it will not tighten loose skin on its own. Where mild laxity sits over a residual fat pocket, an at-home body firming routine can support the surrounding skin between visits. Significant loose skin is a different concern, and your practitioner will assess it honestly at the consultation and point you to the appropriate option if one fits.
