Dermal Filler Treatment Areas
What Dermal Fillers Treat

Lip Shape and Volume
Hyaluronic acid restores volume, balances asymmetry, and defines the lip border for a natural, proportionate result that stays soft and balanced.
Treatments+
A small amount of HA filler enhances shape and hydration while keeping lips soft and mobile, balanced to the rest of your face.
Causes+
Lips lose volume and definition as collagen and hyaluronic acid decline, and the upper lip lengthens and thins with age.
Filler Results
From the day of treatment to fully settled
Immediate Volume
Day 1 · minimal downtime
Volume and contour are visible immediately after treatment. Mild swelling or tenderness at injection sites is normal for the first 2 to 5 days, and small bruises are possible, particularly around the lips and under-eyes.
Settled Result
Week 2 · final shape
Swelling resolves and the hyaluronic acid integrates into the tissue, settling into its final, natural position. Two weeks is the right point to assess the complete result and make any small adjustment.
Long-Lasting
Months 12-18 · area dependent
Most areas hold for 12 to 18 months, while lips tend to metabolize a little faster. Maintenance is planned around how each area ages, so your result stays consistent rather than fading all at once.

The VRA Experience
Why Patients Choose VRA for Dermal Fillers
Victoria Rose Cyr, RN, BScN, brings over a decade of clinical experience, plus years spent teaching it, first in the classroom and now as a national clinical trainer for a respected aesthetics brand. Today that expertise goes into her Pickering practice and the team of injectors she's built around it.
Victoria Rose Cyr is a Registered Nurse (BScN) and the founder of Victoria Rose Aesthetics, with 10 years of clinical experience, six years running her own practice, and five years as a national clinical trainer. She sets the clinical standard every filler treatment at VRA is held to.
Victoria is a clinical trainer for Nuceiva and Teosyal, mentoring physicians, nurses, med spa owners, and injectors across Canada in precise, evidence-based technique.
Product is built up conservatively to restore support where it has been lost, rather than chasing volume for its own sake. Filler is placed by a VRA injector working to Victoria's standard, under medical oversight as required by Ontario regulation.

FAQ
Your Dermal Filler Questions,
Answered by Victoria
Everything you need to know about dermal fillers before your first treatment at Victoria Rose Aesthetics.
The dermal fillers we use at VRA are made of hyaluronic acid, a sugar molecule your body produces naturally to keep skin hydrated and plump. Medical-grade HA fillers are biocompatible, gradually broken down by the body over time, and can be dissolved if ever needed. We use Health Canada-approved products and confirm the specific filler and area at your consultation.
Filler pricing is based on the product used and the number of syringes your plan requires, so your total depends on which areas are treated and how much volume restores a natural result. We walk you through the full cost before treatment begins, so there is nothing unexpected on the day. Book a consultation for a written plan with areas, syringes, and pricing.
Most hyaluronic acid fillers last 12 to 18 months depending on the area and how quickly your body metabolizes the product. Lips tend to break down a little faster than firmer areas like the chin and jawline. Your injector will plan maintenance around how each treated area ages so your result stays consistent.
Yes. One of the advantages of hyaluronic acid filler is that it can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if you are unhappy with a result or in the rare event of a complication. This is part of why we use HA filler and why structure-first, conservative placement matters.
Most patients find filler very manageable. We apply topical numbing before treatment, and all of our fillers contain lidocaine to keep you comfortable as the product is placed. Most patients describe it as a 2 to 3 out of 10, with the lips being the most sensitive area.
Most patients return to normal activities the same day. Mild swelling and tenderness are normal for 2 to 5 days, and bruising is possible, particularly in the lips and under-eye area. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, and heat for the first 24 hours.
Our approach is structure-first and conservative. We restore support where volume has been lost rather than overfilling, so the result looks like you, refreshed and balanced. If an area needs more, it is easier to add at your follow-up than to overcorrect on the first visit.
They do different things and are often combined. Botox relaxes the muscles that create expression lines, like forehead lines and crow's feet. Dermal filler restores lost volume and refines contours in areas like the cheeks, lips, under-eyes, chin, and jawline. Many of our patients combine both in a liquid facelift for full-face rejuvenation.
Filler at Victoria Rose Aesthetics is placed by our RN injectors, working to the clinical standard Victoria Rose Cyr, RN, BScN, sets and trains, under medical oversight as required by Ontario regulation. Victoria is a national clinical trainer for Nuceiva and Teosyal and oversees the technique used across the practice.
Common areas include the lips, cheeks and mid-face, under-eye (tear trough), chin, jawline, and the nasolabial folds. A liquid facelift combines several areas in one coordinated session. Your injector will recommend which areas will give you the most natural, balanced result based on your facial assessment.
