Why Ajax Chooses Victoria Rose

A clinic built by a national injector-trainer

Most Ajax patients arrive on a friend's recommendation, and the person behind those results is consistent. Victoria Rose Cyr, RN, BScN owns and leads the clinic, brings more than a decade in aesthetic nursing, and spends part of each year teaching injectors across Canada for Nuceiva and Teosyal. Your Botox is placed by our injectors under her clinical lead, to the standard she teaches.

It shows in how a plan is made. Every visit starts with a full assessment of your muscle movement and facial anatomy, and your Botox is dosed to your own face rather than a set formula. A Nurse Practitioner Medical Director provides regulatory oversight, and every protocol is held to Health Canada standards.

What Botox Treats

One neuromodulator, placed with intent

Botox relaxes the specific muscles that create movement-driven lines, so the result is smoother, well-rested, and still able to move naturally. Most patients see softening within a few days, the full effect around two weeks, and results that last roughly three to four months.

Beyond the classic forehead and frown lines, the same treatment slims the jawline, lifts the brow, eases a gummy smile, and calms excessive sweating. Each area is planned on its own.

The clinic works primarily with Nuceiva, a Health Canada-approved neuromodulator Victoria trains other injectors to use. Like Botox and Dysport, it is a purified botulinum toxin. What changes your result is far less about the brand on the vial and far more about precise, conservative dosing.

Commonly treated at VRA

  • Forehead lines & frown lines (the "11s")
  • Crow's feet around the eyes
  • Masseter / jawline slimming & TMJ clenching
  • Brow lift, lip flip & gummy smile
  • Underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis)

Is Botox right for you?

Most healthy adults who want to soften expression lines are good candidates. Botox is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with certain neuromuscular conditions or an allergy to its ingredients. Your suitability is confirmed in person before anything is treated, so you are never talked into a plan that does not fit.

What to expect after

There is essentially no downtime. Stay upright for about four hours, avoid rubbing the treated area, and skip strenuous exercise, alcohol, and facials for 24 hours so the product settles where it was placed. Small bumps or pinpoint redness fade within an hour or two. The full effect arrives around two weeks, when any touch-up review is booked.

Botox in Ajax, FAQ

Common Questions From
Ajax Patients

Victoria Rose Aesthetics serves Ajax and the Durham Region from our clinic in neighbouring Pickering, about 15 to 20 minutes west along Highway 401, with free on-site parking. It is an easy trip from anywhere in Ajax, including a lunch-hour visit. Your Botox is administered by our injectors under the clinical lead of Victoria Rose Cyr, RN, a national clinical trainer for Nuceiva and Teosyal, so you are treated to the same standard she teaches other injectors across Canada.

For most patients, Botox lasts about three to four months. It softens the muscle within a few days, reaches full effect around two weeks, and then gradually wears off. With consistent treatment over time the muscles learn to relax, so many people find they can space visits a little further apart and still hold their results.

Botox is priced per unit, and the number of units depends on the area being treated and how strong your muscles are, so a forehead is not the same as a jawline. Rather than posting a number online that may not fit your face, we confirm an exact quote at your consultation. You only pay for the units you actually need, and there is no pressure to add areas.

You will usually notice softening within three to five days, with the full effect settling by about two weeks. Any complimentary touch-up review is booked after that two-week mark, once the result has fully developed.

Not when it is dosed correctly. Our approach is conservative, measured placement that softens the lines while keeping natural movement, so you look refreshed and rested rather than done. If you prefer an especially subtle result, we can start lighter and add more at your two-week review.

Botox has been used cosmetically and medically for decades with a well-established safety profile when administered by a qualified injector. At VRA it is placed by our injectors under Nurse Practitioner regulatory oversight, to Health Canada standards. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with certain neuromuscular conditions or an allergy to its ingredients, which is why we review your health history before treating.

Ajax patients are always welcome.
