Mineral (physical) sunscreen uses zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide to sit on the skin and reflect UV. It’s gentle, making it a good choice for sensitive or post-treatment skin.
For sensitive, reactive, or post-procedure skin, many people prefer mineral SPF because it’s less likely to irritate. Worn correctly and reapplied, both mineral and chemical filters protect well.
